North Winds FarmThere is no secret so close as that between a rider and his horse.  ~Robert Smith Surtees
Our program is designed to educate riders in horsemanship, riding skills, and stable management in a safe and friendly atmosphere. Riders can earn CHA Levels after completing a written and practical test, and the Girl Guides Horsepower badge!

At NWF, safety is an important feature of all our programs. Our lesson horses are competent mounts that undergo regular assessment.  We follow Ontario’s Horseback Rider’s Safety Act, where all our riders are required to wear ASTM/SEI approved helmets and heeled boots
